Hillside Napa soil conditions are a mix of well draining rock and mineral rich volcanic ash. The rolling terrain and lengthy growing season provide distinguishing aspects that optimize the many varietal plantings, though cabernet sauvignon is the abundant varietal.
Our cabernet fruit is situated at an elevation of 600 feet amongst vistas of the pastoral valley and mountain ranges on either side. It is here that our cabernet takes on the depth and character associated with Napa hillside fruit.
